Kitty Jumps Ship

Aloha!

Another Beautiful Day in Waikiki

click on photos to enlarge!Sit and Watch the Sun Go Down

"Well I hope you understand I just had to go back to the island. . . (Chorus:)

And watch the sun go down (sit and watch the sun go down)

Hear the sea roll in (listen to the sea roll in)

But I'll be thinking of you (yes, and I'll be thinking of you)

And how it might have been (thinking how it might have been)

Hear the night birds cry (listen to the night birds cry)

Watch the sunset die (sit and watch the sunset die)

Well I hope you understand I just had to go back to the island. . . "

"We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance." I love this Japanese proverb at the end of the video.

Great cat jump shot!!

That's not old spiral nose...that is me with my handle bar mustache and my hair raised after being fed a particularly fine meal.

did kitty jump into the water or a more dry dock as a haven?

As always such a lovely post .. I am hoping that kitty was jumping onto the wharf not into the water .. Aloha!

aloha you. A cat out of water is like a hand in the bush.

I love the videos, and the proverb about us being fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance. What a great motto for life!! (Which dancer were you?)

Your cat rocks!

It looks like Kitty is about to get a schock when she lands.

Got off work thirty minutes ago and my body is now sitting in a Toyota dealership waiting for my car to be serviced but my mind is in the islands. I'd like to keep this state of mind for a while.

Just dropping by and saying hi. Once I am home and on my computer I will be adding you to my blogroll.

Please tell me that the kitty made it to the dock, or another boat.

I love Leon Russell. You don't hear him much anymore, I don't know why. They play the same old crap on the radio all the time. So many great artists don't get airplay. As usual, I love coming to visit Hawaii!

There goes my cat Bean's brother jumping ship! It must run in the family.
Delightful post, as always.
Happy weekend!

Part cat, part flying squirrel!

Looks like my flirtation w/Hawaaiinnn vacation is delayed, just laid $$ down on a week of Olympic fun in Vacouver in Feb w/my son, a senior in HS who cannot get enough snowboarding. I love that he suggested it and that he has a passion. Passion trumps flirtation this time around. But aloha in my heart . . .

What a beautiful entry of yours. Some time ago read that cats are poetry, something you do proof to be right.
Please have a nice start into the weekend.

Don't worry:
The cat jumps to the dock ;-)

You folks make my day!

Walking Man: sorry for the mis-attribution!

Aloha Ha!

Namaste my two good friends!

Cool, eclectic. Or warm, rather, by the looks of it. Never been to Hawaii, Obama's native state, nor to Alaska, Palin's adopted one. But some day!
