I could leave this earth and not miss much about it. There are too many who have never learned the difference between good and evil and not enough who care to make distinction between the two.

Okay, I had to laugh at "strapping on some wings" because it reminded me of something you said to me a while back that also made me laugh. Icarus never had such fun. ;-)

Lovely - especially the first image, which sits well with my last poem, I think - and hopefully my upcoming watercolour.
I used to dream of flying. Then the dreams turned to being able to fly but only with great effort. Now, I don't seem to fly at all.
I haven't had a flying dream in some time but I love them and would like another please. I do sometimes dream of it while awake.
that was a bird with a bad tummy I think .. glad it missed the camera tho they say its good luck if it lands on your head

Well sorry that bird messed up your camera but you will now have lots of luck. That's what my mum told me when ever a bird dropped one of those delightful 'packages' on me. Loved all the photos and quotes again today, and the photos :)

Aloha means Love in meeting, parting,
and everything in between. It means treating others well with no expectations.....
To be honest, I've NEVER dreamed of flying (& I pay close attention, so I would know.) I've dreamed of falling, though. Even falling sideways (somehow) so quickly that I forced myself awake to escape the terror of it.
I've hovered, in a way. Overlooked a scene as though from the top of a tall building but outright flying? Never in my 42 years.

Somehow I missed this post yesterday. That picture reminds me of a concert we played in the Kiosk de Musique in Cannes, France. We were in formal attire, but when the birds hit our elegant dresses, we thanked them for missing our strings and bows which were needed for another concert the next morning...

Haha! I think it's better for the bird to miss your camera. You just need to wash your hand - that's easier than wiping your camera clean. Don't you agree? : )
