Weekend Wanders

Aloha Friend!

Hey! Click on the photos, eh?

Looks like Saturday skies are clearing
in time for some adventures around Honolulu Town!

“A Picture of many colors
 proclaims images of many Thoughts.”
 Donna A. Favors

So much to see.
Every day I spot new sights,
even on this small island.

"The only thing I knew how to do
Was to keep on keepin' on
like a bird that flew ..."

 BOB DYLAN

Anywhere the wind takes me on two wheels. . .

"All my life through,

 the new sights of Nature

made me rejoice like a child. "

 Madame Marie Curie

The soul always
has an appetite
for love.

There's always room for more.

Love's aroma
arouses pleasantness
every time-
even if the soul just
had some.

This is a reliable principle
in human relations.

Use it
with others

and
yourself.

I love Hawaiian rainbows. When we were in Maui a few years back, my husband got several pictures of double rainbows. Just gorgeous.

I like your quotes, in the paper toady they quoted Pedro Calderon in reguards to love.

That first picture is nice. I've only been to Oahu once, but I replay the images I saw all the time

Happy Halloween Cloudia!

Indeed, it does. This makes me think of the video of the Dalai Lama and Krista Tippett and religious leaders from other major faiths at Emory University this month. They share your perspective!

Oh, cloudia, I always feel like I have taken a little mini-vacation when I visit your blog. And I love the title on the first picture. It's so Canadian, eh? ;-)

That bike looked interesting. Was it covered with contact paper or painted that way?

It's wonderful the way you go around with your camera and your eyes and pick out the special, the unusual, the beautiful and the stunning. Thanks for making me smile here in the northern dark....

I am so happy to finally visit your blog. Have noticed your comments on several other blogs and finally decided to stop by!

That's a lovely rainbow and the bike is so cool! I haven't been to Hawaii for twenty years...lived there in another life, if you know what I mean. It was wonderful and I still miss it.

Wonderful .. so is that a real bike or a sculpture?

Cloudia said...

Thanks!

The bike is a rack for locking your bike. It is painted. Perhaps by a mime :)
