New & Improved

A L O H A !

"With happiness
comes intelligence
to the heart."

- Chinese proverb

 Which is bigger:
This Scooter-

Or this tiny (smart) car?

"Blame yourself
if you have no branches or leaves;
don't accuse the sun of partiality.
Be not afraid of growing slowly,
be afraid only of standing still."

- Chinese proverb

Don't stand still in this intersection!

The quotes that you post and the messages that you put forth are always well worth reading.

I'm sure the same is true of your book. I have a few in line ahead of this, but I plan on adding your novel to my list.

I really like those smart cars, getting one might be the only way I can afford to get to the beach.

If you stand still to long the grass will grow under your feet and then the smart car will run you over :-).

Nice--very nice quotes. I love the pictures.

Cloudia, I didn't know you had a novel. I'm glad you mentioned it. I will check it out.

And thanks for stopping by, and for your wise comment. That particular case always comes to my mind. Two sweet elderly ladies, probably reliving their "best friends" or "sisters" childhood time. I told staff, a kiss is no harm. The feeling of companion, of human closeness remains there-forever, even if our minds are gone.

I would have thought that intelligence brings happiness to the heart...at least I assume it works that way in the NSA.

I'd like me a little scooter.

I'll say the scooter is longer. ANd the sun is not partial. It shines on saint and sinner alike. No excuses. There are too many opportunities for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

That tree is a beauty with all its gnarly limbs. And love the colours of those lanterns too.
