“I want to be a fire man,”
they knew he wanted to play with fire,
not put it out.
Turning 11 a couple of weeks ago,
Hale is the youngest professional fireknife dancer in Hawaii, maybe in the world, performing two nights a week for Malu Productions at the Hale Koa Hotel. He says he is “really ready to light it up” to win at next weekend’s World Fireknife Championship at the Polynesian Cultural Center." Mahalo to Honolulu Pulse

Those fire-eaters always fascinated me, and they were even more impressive at night. I wish the young Hale all the best for the upcoming competition.

How wonderful that such a young man knows what he wants and is so involved in his culture!
I admire that he knows just what he wants to do. Very cool and especially that his parents let him do it.

My almost 11 yr old CAT Rose is likely asleep right now ... after all she exhausted herself waking me up!
His parents do well to cope with his interest in fire. All the best to him in the competition.
