" Happiness
is not something ready-made.
It comes from your own
actions. "

Dalai Lama

Did you hear about the snail
who was robbed
by a turtle?

When asked for details
she said:
"Oh it all happened
SO fast! "

" The tree which moves some to tears of joy
is in the eyes of others
only a green thing

Some see nature all ridicule and deformity...

But to the eyes of imagination,
nature is
imagination itself. "

I like the Fuller Quote, but then you can say the same thing about food.

And you can quit keeping all the heat now. Winter came this morning at 15f. One more week then Spring arrives so you just have to send a little bit this way.

It's so true, how different people regard nature. You know I love it. I think there is a special corner of hell for real estate developers.

I just read an article about an infestation of African giant snails moving into the US. Your snail pic reminded me of it.

That Dalai Lama is a very wise man. Loved the turtle and the snail tale, funny! If only everything moved at a slightly slower pace. Hope you're having a great weekend Cloudia.

Oh that poor snail! Your first photo makes think of what a great idea for an ice-cream store....or a coffee shop... on a much larger scale of course... imagine the people that would stop to order something out of that as a coffee or ice-cream stand! I hope your weekend is filled with joy!

Mahalo for sending some warm thoughts and photos. It went from 7 to 14 degrees this morning in K.C.! Making in-roads into filing in my new 2nd bedroom "office." DrumMajor

Great collection of quotes. Richard Bach (no relations) has a great quote about the caterpillar and butterfly too: ''What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.'
