Daughter Water

" - our jealousy,
anger, hatred, fear -
can be put to an end.

When you realize
that these emotions
 are only temporary,
 that they always pass on
 like clouds in the sky,
you also realize
 they can ultimately be
abandoned.  "

Tenzin Gyatso

" I am the daughter
 of Earth and Water,

" And the nursling of the Sky;

" I pass through the pores

" of the ocean

"  and shores;

" I change,

 but I cannot die...."

Percy Bysshe Shelley,
 "The Cloud"

I can easily end it all but the anger because there is so much to be angry about and a peaceful heart can not fight the wrongs. I will be fire for a while longer yet.

When I first came to New Orleans they had some amazing sewer lids. Most are gone now. They got stolen in some cases and picked up to keep them from being stolen in other cases.
