Healing Sun Delivery

A    L    O    H    A  !
Here Comes the Sun by Nina Simone on Grooveshark
How do YOU fill the blank?
Too many of us worry
 about the bad that can happen;
But what if
we lived expecting
The BEST?

Mad Happy Little Cloud-Ram Cavorting

 "Those that think it permissible
 to tell white lies
 soon grow color blind."

 Austin O'Malley

 “ If only we'd stop
 trying to be happy
 we'd have a
 pretty good time. ”

 Edith Wharton

I haven't been outside in days!
This Lingering Ick sure is. . .
um, lingering.
Though clearly I am mending.

The mad dreams
have been the best part.
Yesterday, I was paling
around with a famous
baseball player.

The best one
was the long distance call
from my Dad,
though it stung a bit
when I woke
 and remembered.

Looking out my window,
reading your comments,
visiting your blogs
(as I am able)
is the best part of
this time of sickness.

When I was younger and on my own
I could not afford to get sick!

My car could NOT break down either!
(my old Volkswagens :)

Angels must have been helping me.

Somehow,
for years it all stayed together,
though now I recall,
my dad helped me out
on occasion
actually rolling up his sleeves
and going out to clean
the banks I had to clean.

Nice of him to look in again!

Let's spare a thought
for those one illness,
one paycheck away,
from homelessness-

Goodness, what dreams. Maybe that's Dad's little spirit cloud sneaking into your dreams. Poke your head outside for bit when you can. Hope you get better quick! Calm and peace in the world would be good.

Wouldn't it be great if...

I had the camera in my hands a half hour ago! I went outside, and there were six or seven large deer right next to the porch. Off they went...

Get better soon, Cloudia!

The color blind thought was a true gem. Hope you keep on the mend and get to go outside for a bit of fresh air - smell the plumeria and Pacific ocean, maybe indulge in something small - like your favorite soothing tea or drink. :)

I would like to always think that the best is going to happen Cloudia but in some situations this is really hard to do.

It must be hard to have to stay indoors. I know how you like to be in the outside wild. Really nice thoughts today. I like the little cloud.
Keep getting better, all the other clouds are waiting for you.

I'm sorry you are not feeling well… you make such a good point about too many folks being a paycheck away from devastating circumstances… I like your opening thoughts as well… looking for the best in each other, in our lives opens that energy up to flow… it won't mend everything but it has potential to make a difference in ways that are mysterious and real. Your photos are beautiful. I am partial to the rainbow. Many years ago, the one time I visited the big island I saw a double rainbow for the first time… It was not an easy time in my life and that moment was the beginning of some good changes that turned my life around.
