Sun Shines Brightest After a Night in Jail

A   L   O   H   A !
" Live each
season
 as it passes;
 breathe the air,
 drink the drink,
 taste the fruit, and
 resign yourself
 to the influences
 of each. "

Henry David Thoreau

If you ever spent a night in jail
even years ago
I bet you understood today's
title immediately.

This morning, I left my apt
for the first time in, days,
many days - that's all I can
definitively say.

It was the first day I could
imagine seeing another person,
or having THEM see me!

I hid behind sunglasses, under a helmet,
wore my gloves, and rode my scooter
to the post office, my usual morning
WALK.

What a kick!

And, you know,
Waikiki REALLY is
beautiful!

Though I have a dynamite view,
and a lanai (balcony)
there is something WONDERFUL
about moving through space!

I'm back in bed, now
surrounded by mail,
coloring outside the lines and avoiding
house work. I want to go back out there
sometime!

I'm getting better.

How's Your Thing going?

                              Fondly, cloudia

 =^..^=
Someday, when I'm a Super-Ager
(100+) I think I'll enjoy getting about
with my levitation scooter. . . .

Well that is certainly a provocative title - I'm glad you weren't actually in jail (just in the literal sense.) :) Glad you are feeling better and yes, I know exactly what you mean - seeing the wonderful world around you after being cooped up inside for a while.

I left the house Wed. to get 7 shots for pain in my shoulder, Detroit was not beautiful. I will admit the only time I have been in jail after crisscrossing the country a half dozen times was in Hamtramck. Google it) They could not put up with me long enough to hold me all night long. I guess the chanting got to them.

Would have been good to get out even if for a short time... Must admit I wouldn't mind a day of lying in bed reading, computering :) etc. but not the feeling sick part :) Chin up Cloudia, you'll be whizzing around again before long, I can't see much holding you down :)

I see the Hawaiian birdies couldn't find a telephone line to sit on, so they lined up on a palm leaf.

Woa - a levitation scooter? I want one of those. I know the feeling of finally going outside when one has been confined. We're like birds - can't stand being caged.
Glad you got out and are feeling a little better. Thanks for still treating us to such beauty via your pictures and quotes.
