30 Years in Hawaii - Now Marin CA
It looks big!
OH! Can you just go out there and pick a banana and eat it? Haha...that sounds magical to me. I am waaaay over here. ;-)
Wow nice captured
Hopefully, ripe bananas!
Banana is a giant grass, not a real tree. They ripen and a new one grows from the root after you knock down the fulfilled "tree". There always seem to be a few generations around so yes, you can just pick a ripe one! But mostly the whole cluster of fruit is taken at once with one swipe of the machete. Gee, you think I'm missing Hawaii right about now? LOL. But I'm looking out at beauty and loving life, so we'll just call it Nostalgia! Thanks for commenting each of YOU!
How close was the banana patch to where you used to live? Was it open to the public? Do you have pictures of pineapples on the vine?
Are you missing apple bananas? They are my favorite over here.
I have a banana tree hanging over my fence that belongs to the neighbours, the babanas are good :)
