Spring Abstracts

A  L  O  H  A !

" I looked at my hands to see
if I was the same person.
There was such a
glory over everything.
 The sun came up like
gold through the trees,
and I felt like I
was in heaven."
                    Harriet Tubman

“Nature will bear
the closest inspection.
She invites us to lay
 our eye level with
 her smallest leaf, and take
an insect view of its plain.”
                     Thoreau

“Never say there is
nothing beautiful in
 the world anymore.
There is always something
to make you wonder
in the shape of a tree,
the trembling of a leaf.”
                Albert Schweitzer

Besotted am I
by this Spring of Springs
my first in 30 years.
And sweet it is.
Your visits tremble,
vibrating like
flashing leaves
in the Dervish
dancing of
my mind.

Thank You!
Fondly, cloudia
