Hope is a fragile essential.
ReplyDeleteLove the word "respair." We need to recover it and use it often. Pixie is not doing nothing; she is being exceptionally cute to cause us to respair.
ReplyDeletePixie is showing sweetness and love.
ReplyDeleteDoing nothing is quite a way to spend a day.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great word, 'respair'. Pixie is bringing us lots of smiles, and so are you :)
ReplyDelete"If we had no winter..."
ReplyDeleteWhat is winter in Hawaii? A week of 70 degree temps in February?
There are seasonal changes, Mike, that locals perceive, and the Hawaiians of old understood much more intimately. It is just enough for me to appreciate the sunny days more. If it's raining in January in Honolulu you will see people in jackets and others in bathing suits. Guess which are local and which tourists?
ReplyDeleteEach of these comments is so engaged and authentic. Communication with you who I've come to know and care about. What more is friendship than this?
Love you, Pals!
