...today is life, live it. it's not a dress rehearsal.

ReplyDeleteI love Hawaiian language...is it still spoken and taught? I somehow think I saw a school somewhere (maybe Facebook years ago) where Hawaiian was being taught. I like the idea of a US state with a second (original) language!
ReplyDeleteThe Hawaiian language is the second official language of Hawaii. It has in recent years experienced a resurgence including Hawaiian language, immersion schools. There are more native speakers than there have been in a really long time. The kids who attend the schools or have graduated from them are amazing. Yes, we are lucky to have a rich host culture in these islands. Thanks for your visit and comment. I always enjoy your posts! Aloha Barbara
DeleteToday, i require nothing more than the first pic although the last one is always nice too.
ReplyDeleteNice photo's today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the phonetic spelling of the street name. When I was in Hawaii the long words tripped me up every time.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful photos. Loved the post.
ReplyDeleteEvery day is precious and you never know when it will be your last. Live life to your fullest all the time.
