Grab All The Grounded You Can

 A L O H A  From
H  O  N  O  L  U  L  U

Old age, believe me, is
a good and pleasant thing.
It is true you are gently
shouldered off the stage,
but then you are given
such a comfortable front stall
as spectator.
Confucius

When one with honeyed words
but evil mind
Persuades the mob,
great woes befall the state.
Euripides, Orestes

They were all dressed
in their finest
as though life really were
some magical stage play
in which every moment
ought to be illuminated
with its own bright spotlight.
 Anna Godbersen

The world is a stage,
 but the play
is badly cast.
Oscar Wilde

Beneath the moon’s
Soft silver gleam,
The world dissolves
Into a dream.

Petals close
Stars take flight,
Healing pervades
This quiet night.

A breath, a sigh
In stillness deep,
My soul surrenders
Gladly to sleep.

Where rivers glow
My memories play,
With dreams of tomorrow
As I drift away.

  2. Good morning Claudia!!
    Wonderful photos!
    I really liked your poem,
under the moonlight the most incredible things happen!
I also liked the quote about old age, it is certainly more difficult for those who have learned to be protagonists in life!!

  3. Love that Confucious quote - and am much happier as a spectator than a player.

  22. I love the Oscar Wilde quote. He might be talking about our politicians in DC. I love the palms, too. What a beautiful poem for a beautiful Pixie.

Of course, I was blown away by that lovely young lady i that two piece outfit dressed like a "magical stage play" and carrying a bottle of water. It's perfect for T this Tuesday, dear Cloudia.
