A L O H A From

Listen to your life.
See it for the fathomless
mystery it is. In the
boredom and pain of it,
no less than in the excitement
and gladness:
touch, taste,
smell your way to the holy
and hidden heart of it,
because in the last analysis
all moments are key moments,
and life itself is grace. Frederick Buechner
Keep your heart
clear and transparent
And you will never be bound.
A single disturbed thought,
though, creates
ten thousand distractions...
And you’ll go further
and further astray.
Ryōkan
Release the weight
That you've been holding.
The heart knows how
To heal.
Slowly, surely, kindly.
Choose the stillness
As your method.
And calm
Will steer you home.

I love the A.D. Williams quote and the Guanyin with the crystal lantern and Pixie with your poem. Thanks for such an uplifting post.
ReplyDeleteBuechner beautifully reminds us that by fully experiencing every moment—whether joyful, painful, or ordinary—we can recognize the sacredness and grace that permeate all of life.
ReplyDeleteSome excellent quotes today. And how I would love to imagine the AD Williams world.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful and profound quote. Life, with all its ups and downs, truly is grace, and each moment holds its own significance. A reminder to be fully present and embrace the mystery of it all.
ReplyDeleteImagine what we could accomplish. Anything.
ReplyDeleteThe A.D. Williams quote spoke to me. I want to imagine. Loved the Pixie poem. And I've had coconut juice before and enjoyed it. That's a great addition to T this Tuesday, dear Cloudia.

Thank you for Ella Fitzgerald. I used to have many of her albums (vinyl) and later compilations on CD. I love her voice. This song (in my opinion) not one of her best. But it's a song that fits in with your post today, so thank you.
ReplyDeleteI love the quotes, especially the Büchner one. And wouldn't it be nice if Williams got his wish. Your poem is lovely.
A very inspirational post.
PS what fruit is that (the drink)?
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
