Replenish

 A L O H A  From

Rest and self-care
are so important.
When you take time to
replenish your spirit, it allows
you to serve others from
the overflow. You cannot
serve from an empty vessel.
     Eleanor Brownn

Life should be touched,
not strangled.
You've got to relax,
let it happen at times...
    Ray Bradbury

Thanks for skies
Immeasurably blue,
Clouds drifting softly
With nothing to do,
Rivers flow
Always free,
A quiet hymn
Called: Simply BE.

The sparrow doesn't
Sing tomorrow,
Needs no plans
Or borrowed sorrow.
The song is now
Wings are here
Let blessed joy
Sing pure and clear.

So sketch your plans
Upon the shore;
Where waves erase them
In perfect candor.
Walk barefoot
Where this earth is kind,
Tonic for the busy mind.

A breath, a laugh,
The sky so wide
These gifts await
When worries subside.

Almost everything
will work again if
you unplug it
for a few minutes,
including you.

  14. Wow, that is gorgeous blue sky and water. And how true how we have to care for our own selves so we can care for others. And I love the image your words create when it says the sparrow doesn't plan to sing tomorrow. Have a fabulous T day. And I hope Pixie doesn't have to stay upside down.
