Fascination And Peace Of Mind

A L O H A  From

H O N O L U L U

Walk this path,
The gentle way,
Each step sufficient,
Come what may.

The years pass on,
Like clouds up high,
My curiosity
Will never die.

Ancient trees,
With roots so deep,
Our minds, in stillness,
Wisdom keep.

No final answer
Or truth to find,
Just fascination
And peace of mind.

It's in the questions
Softly spoken,
A deeper knowing
Is awoken.

Color is a power
which directly influences
the soul.
Wassily Kandinsky

What is a soul?
It's like electricity -
we don't really know what it is,
but it's a force that
can light a room.
Ray Charles

    1. A cruise ship departing, fully lit. A friend has just returned home after a cruise from Hawaii. I am not sure if she caught Covid or something else, and her ex mother in law was in the ship hospital with pneumonia. I don't think it was a great holiday for them, but there were some nice photos, especially of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.

  4. Ray Charles captures the mystery and power of the soul beautifully—it's not something we can define, but we feel its presence in the warmth, energy, and light it brings into our lives.

    1. Yes! We stayed in Northern California for an extended period about 6 years ago and pixie had run of the yard under supervision. Although she never learned to like walking on grass and always preferred the deck or the rail. Yep, that's her checking out the waterfowl. Thank you so much for coming by Aloha!
