May The Gentle

A L O H A  From

H O N O L U L U

One individual who
vibrates to the energy
of pure love will
counterbalance the
negativity of 750,000
who do not.
Dr. David Hawkins

In a world gone mad
spiraling with so much noise,
fear, and division, the
greatest revolution is to
stay anchored in love.
Not passive, spiritual, by-passy,
head-in-the-sand “love”,
but love that sees darkness,
feels compassion for suffering,
and chooses to shine anyway.
Aubert Bastiat

All of humanity's problems
stem from peoples' inability
to sit quietly
in a room alone.
   Blaise Pascal,
17th-century French philosopher,
mathematician, and writer.
This appears in his work Pensées

May the gentle hush
Of evening
Cradle your thoughts
In peace,
And may the stars above
Guide you on
To sweet release.

Rest well, wrapped
In serenity,
Until the dawn
Brings light
Unto infinity.

  3. What a beautiful trio of reflections—a reminder that in the face of chaos, the quiet strength of conscious, compassionate love can be both a radical act and a luminous guide

  6. I like the fraction of one vs 750,000 for pure love. All the people working for a peaceful resolution to the many conflicts should counter-balance negative energy pretty well.

  13. We have noticed it is not possible to just sit and do nothing. Society today frowns on those who are not busy doing something every waking minute. We need to slow down, take in life, and enjoy. Great post.
