Age Is Opportunity

 A L O H A  From
H O N O L U L U
Life is unpredictable.
Situations will move
at their own pace,
especially the ones we
have no control over.
We find ourselves at times,
angry at a possible scenario
in a situation that hasn’t
even happen yet.
Then, the exact
opposite happens.
Looking back at the
thoughts wasted and
false anguish,
we’re all better off with
patience and an open mind.
   Ron Baratono

Don't fool yourself,
just COOL yourself!
Pixie

There is frequently more
to be learned from
the unexpected questions
of a child than the
discourses of men.
     John Locke

Deal with the faults
of others as gently
as with your own.
Chinese Proverb

For age is opportunity
 no less than youth itself,
though in another dress,
and as the evening
twilight fades away,
the sky is filled with
stars, invisible by day.
                    Longfellow

Trust in your truth,
and in your courage to
share it with the world.
Your truth can help
many people and
transform many lives.

The Hawaii state flag
was first commissioned by
King Kamehameha I in 1816,
making it one of the oldest
flags in continuous use
in the United States. The current design above
was officially adopted on
December 29, 1845,
during the reign of
Kamehameha III, and has
remained unchanged through
the Kingdom, Republic, Territory,
and State of Hawaii.

Hawaii became the
50th U.S. state in 1959,
the flag was retained as
the official state flag.
