There is the mud, and
there is the lotus that

We need the mud in

Old age is
not a disease -
it is strength and
survivorship,
triumph over all kinds
of vicissitudes and
disappointments,
trials and illnesses.

Great post! I love the bright red sky and the lotus blossoms. Pixie is telling us that cats don't need mud to be beautiful; mud is only necessary for dogs and humans on their spa days.

Here’s to the triumph of old age.
ReplyDeletePixie sees a wee doggie.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoughtful post...survivorship!
ReplyDeleteOld age isn't fun, Cloudia. But we keep on going. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSome days I'm really aware of old age creeping up on me, but I rejoice each day I wake up. Blessings, Cloudia!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteLove the sky, a beautiful color. Pixie is always a favorite.
Old age has not been fun lately.
Take care, have a great day!
I love that red sky and wonderful quotes!
ReplyDeleteFire sky.
ReplyDeleteGreat sky - lovely post #FloralFridayFoto
ReplyDeleteI love the Maxime Lagacé quote. It took me decades to figure out that when I was trying to learn something to just shut up unless I had a question.
ReplyDeleteI love the Maxime quote. Curiosity will take you far, indeed! Thank you for linking up.
ReplyDeleteThese quotes beautifully remind us that growth, resilience, and transformation often bloom from struggle, guided by love and openness
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all of those quotes and wonderful photos. Hello sweet Pixie! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteIt's astounding....time is fleeting. Suddenly I look in the mirror and I am "of an age" that I once thought was ancient. Yet I look inside myself and I am still young there.
ReplyDeleteAloha! Namaste 🙏
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lotus flowers, great fiery sky, and Pixie is charming as ever. I love the quote about survivorship. Truer by the day!
ReplyDeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteWise words with great pics!
ReplyDeleteAll the pink in your post is a good color for today since it's cloudy and damp at my house. Give Pixie a pat for me and have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI really love that first photo. Pixie looks so cute. Great post.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that Hawaii has its own version of Aurora Borealis (photo 1) wink, wink.
