Kindness expands
the light within us
and reaches out to
touch the light
in others as well.
Wayne W. Dyer.
To the Artemis flyers
You carry human courage,
The light of every dream
To reach beyond horizons.
Working hard and clean.
You remind us
Exploration is
Return to wonder.
The moon is your path,
But inspiration
Your gift to Earth.
In your flight we recognize
The most ancient
Of all longing
To go farther, see more,
And become more.
From the silence of space
From the silence of space
A message of hope.
Your journey
Honors the brave,
Inspires the searcher,
And lifts the spirit
Of all who look up.
Artemis flies for discovery,
For excellence, and
The hunger
To meet the unknown
with courage.
Pixie & Cloudia
Make me a candle
of comfort in this world.
Make me burn
with peace.

ReplyDeleteI can see why it's called the crown flower, and it's very nice.
ReplyDeleteWe can't imagine ever wanting to go into space. It is so dangerous and who knows if anything will ever come of it except some photos. Thankfully there are people that want that kind of adventure so the rest of us don't need to do it.
ReplyDeleteAs always, a wonderful combination of text and photos.
ReplyDelete...Wayne W. Dyer is spot on.

ReplyDeleteThe Artemis mission was beyond inspirational, and you've captured that with your words here. Blessings, Cloudia!
ReplyDeleteI remember the space shuttles. So glad there is interest in expanding human knowledge, but do wish they'd have the same enthusiasm for our planet's environmental crisis.
ReplyDeleteThat was an epic event, Artemis. My grandson is studying astrophysics. It is fascinating.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to see a poem based on current events.
