From

Honolulu

Savor calm
And quiet grace,
Forget the stormy
Tempest's chase.

For in sweet stillness
Peace is found,
Here together
On sacred ground.

The Fly

God in his wisdom
made the fly
And then forgot
to tell us why.

  13. I love the Ogden Nash poem (and the lovely pics, especially the rainbow). I think Pixie is telling Ogden that God made flies for cats to practice pouncing.

  14. Pixie looks very pensive. Is she pondering why there are flies?
