Is the sky a reflected sea . . . or the sea a reflected sky?

Good Boy!
Small fry grow bigger every day!
Is there anything as lovely as a lighted pleasure boat passing slowly off shore after a good dinner among friends? There are so many magical tricks that rascal light can play; mesmerizing us at noon with sheer audacious dazzle; Teasing sparkles accent saturated tropical colours. Sharp detail in leaf & shadow lures us into the world outside (out of the "world" inside). . . or is it the caress of cool trade winds that systematically deranges petty logic and worry? A forgotten bliss, blessed by serendipity, reveals & revels in an Ecstasy of pure/mere being. . . Begin again the ceremonies of refreshment. . . We're spiralling directly into that pot of jam. Selah! A L O H A! Cloudia
Is the sky a reflected sea . . . or the sea a reflected sky?
ReplyDeleteBoth are true, I would guess. I like the little fishy photo.
Aw the dog with the antlers is too cute!
ReplyDeleteJunosmom: The fishies say: 'aloha.'
ReplyDeleteAke: That's my pal, 'Boy;' he runs everyone at Hula's Bar in the Waikiki Grand!
Dang do I want to go fishing.
ReplyDeleteGood pictures, good words... good dog.
ReplyDeletejetsam, flotsam and a plain ole' pot of jam--you are so clever!! I got lost in your prose...again. Thanks for sharing. The reindeer dog made me smile, BIG.

That came to mind when I saw your pics and read your words: There are so many magical tricks that rascal light can play - You have a magic mind, my dear!
Poor dog.
ReplyDeleteYour words are pure poetry today, Cloudia.
I love the dog with the antlers! And the Chinese proverb--so true!
ReplyDeleteAnd ligan too!
ReplyDeleteEveryone forgets ligan, not musical enough... Ligan are goods tossed to the sea but tied to buoys so that intent to reclaim is unequivocable as is ownership.
:)
I like the sea/sky dialectical tension.
