ReplyDeleteIt seems that there is no picnic complete without the ants showing up for their fair portion. I can't dissuade them or beat them back. I have learned to simply set aside what they claim as their due and have a good time in the sunlight watching their industry.
ReplyDeleteInteresting post. You have a lot to be grateful for, living there where you do. Do you miss the four seasons?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing to do, Cloudia! You're so right. Today is the day for a picnic.
ReplyDeleteWhat an inspiring post to begin the week! Especially love the photo of the autumn leaf with the light glowing within it.
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to some warmer weather so we can eat outside on the patio and enjoy listening to the birds. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat comment by Picasso. True.
ReplyDeleteGood advice, Cloudia! I hope you have a great week also.
ReplyDeletep.s., I'm going to have my picnic indoors today :)
Whoopee! I just had a lovely picnic on the doorstep of our house this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI was stuck too! I'd been writing something, and paused to eat and look at the trees and the spring sky. The writing went much better after that!
all good as always, cloudia :D
