Howdy from the Midwest. Is the blue logo for a former or current bomb shelter site? I remember the old yellow Civil Defense "CD" signs to tell us a stocked shelter was located inside.
ReplyDeleteThe Kennedys were also responsible for the law that required pregnancy to be treated like a medical illness, and for women to keep and return to their jobs after a baby.
I think Ted Kennedy remdeemed himself after his errors. with the vast array of legislation to improve many people's lives.

Change is here now, at the door and coming through...now. It is inevitable and if it is not peaceably embraced then it will be violently fought for, That is the nature of people who have been used for too long now.

Your header is very familiar to me. I am a frequent visitor to Hawaii having spent a few months of every year over the last twenty on these beautiful islands and in particular Kauai.
I am going to enjoy your posts form another pardise...we share many of the same plant species here in SE Qld to Hawaii...our sun is just a bit hotter - not quite so gentle on the plants.
As I sit I can smell the lovely scent of Hawaii that fills you as soon as you exit the airport...and I can hear the rustle of the palm fronds in the gentle trades...I can't wait til we return...

One cannot say goodbye to Teddy without once again embracing Jack and Bobbie.
To whom much is given, much is expected - that was their credo. Ever greatful for their generosity of spirit and inspiration.
