Aloha Greetings!
Wanna put your feet in da sand,
and do nothing with me for a while?
is that it can look like
"nothing."
no bottomless pain;
Especially to the drama-addicted and over stimulated.
a whole lotta "nothing"
to some.
the sound of one hand clapping!
Applause to
YOU
for joining us today.
Now go do
"Nothing!"

A L O H A HA HA :)

ReplyDeleteI was a woolgatherer as a child. I remember my aunt saying once that at least I was doing something, in some photograph. (Hello. Future poet.) Now I have two speeds. Full speed ahead and stopped, and I perform both excellently!
ReplyDelete"Do The Don't" reminds me of a dance tune Tim Hardin once did (yes, Tim Hardin) called "Do The Do." It has a nice call-and-response in it. Maybe they should have worked in a few "do the don'ts"!
Wow.. it's 9 AM and I've already accomplished plenty of nothing. You're such a fine motivator!
ReplyDeletewe should all carry emergency packets of sand in our pockets to do nothing when the something becomes overwhelming. The toes will thank us for it.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could do the nothing, but Mondays through Thursdays are my "do the something" days. I'll join you in the sand on Friday.
ReplyDeleteC- I am good at doing nothing!

Better leave that lad's Pringles alone.
ReplyDeleteLove the "grass" skirts Cloudia - and the idea of doing nothing. Your post always cheers me up, thank you for that.
ReplyDeleteIt is a kind of do-nothing day here today. Big storm outside, lots of rain, wind, and spray from the lake. A great day to stay indoors, drink coffee and blog! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI wanna do nothing.. but the laws of the universe keep me moving.
ReplyDeleteI would love to sit and do nothing but I don't think it's possible unless I'm asleep! LOL
ReplyDeleteI've actually got a head start on doing nothing today. The house is almost too too quiet.
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteThat kids into his chips isn't he?
There is actually a book in my hands, asking to explain the sound of one hand clapping - what a nice way to spend time, searching for the other one.
ReplyDeleteA week filled with happyness for you.
Nothing sounds like something we all need to do at times, a time to catch up and smell the roses. That little boy's expression was a hoot.
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long.
ReplyDeleteDo nothing is the power of NATURE. I am pretending a taoist!?
Oh that little boy is definitely not going to share his chips, is he?
ReplyDeleteAloha!
xo
Maybe that's why I'm balanced and happy! I get a whole lot of nothing done.
ReplyDeletedoing nothing always sounds awesome! count me in :)
ReplyDeleteOh, da sand, da sand! I wish. Sigh.
ReplyDelete"The only thing wrong with growing and healing
is that it can look like
"nothing."
I love that. I am looking forward to more doses of "nothing". And I do try to enjoy those nothing times when I get the chance.
Thanks for the wonderful affirmations!
Love,
Gina
Aloha! I say it all the time now! :-D
