A L O H A! Cloudia
Dear Cloudia --
ReplyDeleteMahalo for the sunset walk. I LOVE sunsets in Hawaii....nothing to stop the sun's path except the ends of the Earth.
I saw sunrise on Maui's Haleakala at 6 a.m., then drove down the mountain, back to west Maui with plenty of time to see the sunset on the same day. Heaven!

I love "Life guard on duty"

And keep travelling.
I would like to live in Hawaï.

You could go into the postcard business with all the great photos you take!

Beach - something in between, not yet sea, not anymore land. Looking at the sun setting to brighten another part of the world, leaving me behind, drowning into the comfort spiral of life.
ReplyDeleteThank you for those pictures very much.
I think the Gilbert E. Chesterton quote kind of sums up my ambitions!
ReplyDeletealoha! yellow parrot on his bore head. makes it feel taller compared to other mankind.

I love that you took photos of people taking photos. So cool to see. I LOVE that!
ReplyDeleteYou sound like a real people watcher. I do sometimes but mostly I seem to pass through the world oblvioius.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing as romantic as a beautiful sunset. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Cloudia - would that we could have some of that wonderful sunshine and warmth here in an increasingly cool autumn. Lovely pics - especially the reflection on the lifeguard post.
ReplyDeleteI took your walk on the beach and now I feel like a new person! And loved the silly parrot guy and a quote from my favorite silly baseball guy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!
Sometimes I want a comet, though...
ReplyDeleteOh thanks!
ReplyDeleteGREAT comments!!

ReplyDeleteHello Cloudia
ReplyDeleteHonolulu sunsets are special...and the moon at Alamoana harbour is a great shot...
Happy days
Love the shot of the lifeguard stand... awesome!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy my visits to your amazing homeland!
ReplyDeleteCheers from NY!
Your posts are always so heartfelt and beautiful. Sunsets are my favorite part of vacationing somewhere like Aruba or Hawaii. I got tears in my eyes the first time I saw the sun fade into the ocean. The most beautiful things in life are all around us. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteYes! Love the idea for the greeting card. It's "wish you were here" to the power of 10.
ReplyDeleteWow, Cloudia, somehow I missed this terrific post. I loved the sunset pictures.
