ALOHA
Night is Gathering
"Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen
Voices whisper in the trees,
'Tonight is Halloween!'"
Dexter Kozen
Vampires Loom Above the Avenue
"Come with me All Hallow's night
We'll frighten everyone in sight
Such pranks for once, are justified
And fun and frolic amplified."
19th Century Halloween postcard
Normal Looking People Prepare
"In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency
to treat children as adults, and adults as children. . .
The result is unruly children and childish adults."
Thomas Szasz
"From ghoulies and ghosties
And long-leggedy beasties
And things that go bump in the night,
Good Lord, deliver us!"
Scottish Saying
ALOHA, Friends! cloudia
Missed the whole thing...slept myself right through the night and had no care for it neither. The things that go bump in the night here usually get a most un-welcome response.
ReplyDeleteWith an hour to go until I'll have to leave into the rain to get me lessons done for the day, this was for sure of help to obtain a better mood.

ReplyDeleteHi Cloudia, what a cute post. It's good to be checking in with you and catching up. I arrived home a couple of days and found myself 'napping' quite a bit the last couple of days - - dozing off with the laptop on my lap so I gave up and gave in ;) but I think I am coming down to earth now. Thanks for stopping by while I was gone.
