"God has cared for these trees,
saved them from drought, disease, avalanches,
and a thousand tempests and floods.
But he cannot save them from fools."
John Muir

One must have sunshine, freedom,
and a little flower."

So is the beauty of an aged face."

Next time you are having difficulty
making a decision,
you can try this.

Just ask yourself:
"If I was enlightened,
what would I do?"

The answer might just arise,
ready or not!

  1. On the most beautiful beach of Martinique Island there we some coconutree almost layed on the sand. Everytime we went to the beach we has our favorite tree. But on last time in autmun 2007
the beach had not the same appearance, because the hurricane "Dean" passed over there.

  10. I am a tree-hugger. One of our favorite places is King's Canyon and the land of the giant sequoias, John Muir country. I am going to do my best to pretend I'm enlightened today, because if I pretend, it could actually happen. ;-)

  14. I had that experience this week. I wanted to respond as a better person than I was feeling I was. Because I was mad. So I got out of myself and over the speed bump I was making of myself. Great post, Cloudia.
