    This is the entire poem from your third Chinese "proverb." It is actually two lines from a Tang dynasty poem by Li Bai (Li Bo). And the title of the poem is "Drink Up." It's about growing old and remembering one's youth and not being quite where one expected to be in middle age, but still being sure that since you are on earth, you are useful. It's one of my favorite poems.
