It's good to be back.
The silence is velvety.

(Husband has been ill & home this week :)

We made it a sort of getaway
he laid back healing
while I made sandwiches,
store runs,
and put new beers into
the freezer.

Yes,
it was good having the time
and today he's gone in
to run the world
for a few hours
again.

I can't wait to visit
YOUR blog
and see what's happening in
Your world.

Which brings us to a Zen koan:
What IS blogging?
Is it the post you put up?
The comments it garners?
Or is it
visiting all your friends?

Actually, I'm in too much of a hurry
to start my blogosphere tour. . .
You figure it out. . .

TAG!

You're "it!"

Warm Aloha, cloudia

  1. Hi Cloudia,

I think the answer to your Zen koan is "yes." It's the chain that links all of us when we post and read and comment and care.

And by the way, which medieval Zen master created that Koan? Very prescient person :)

  17. Welcome back, although I'm glad you both made the best of hubby's downtime.

I think the best blessing of blogging is the community it fosters.

  21. Welcome back, Cloudia!

Blogging is sharing with anyone who happens by, whether they leave a comment or not. And at times putting yourself out there strongly but without judgement of others.

  26. Cloudia, dear. I'm back too. My blog tours have been limited, but your blog is one of the first I went back to. Sorry your hubby has been sick. I was taking care of my sick dad.

Blogging: Well, just about when I'm ready to stop, thinking it isn't worth all the effort, one person will tell me about something I wrote that touched them or made them laugh or how much they appreciate it. Just that one comment will keep me going - that I made someone happy that day.
