Priscilla

Aloha Friend!

“The three great elemental sounds in nature

are the sound of rain,

the sound of wind in a primeval wood,

and the sound of outer ocean on a beach.”

-Henry Beston

and then you will understand everything better.”

I'm Priscilla.
I sleep on hay in a penthouse apartment overlooking the mountains.

“Well-being and happiness

never appeared to me as an absolute aim.

I am even inclined to compare such moral aims

to the ambitions of a pig.”

Dogs look up to us.

Cats look down on us.

Pigs treat us as equals.”

  1. Love the pig! I guess today I'm going to have to have a sandwich because I have not had any great insights.

  3. I did not eat today at all. Love the first quote, which was a joy for the sense of sound, even if only in thoughts.

  5. Yes life is wonderful and so is your post.

It reminded me of my grandmother, who a few months before she died, told relatives that I had a little pig in my kitchen.

Maybe it was an angel pig who gradually convinced me to become vegetarian.

  13. We fed my son's pigs for one summer, then enjoyed eating them out of the freezer the next. Oh well - they had a happy wholesome life. Maybe I will go vegetarian!

  18. Yesterday I heard the sound of rain and the sound of wind in our neighbor' s poplartree field.
I missed the sound of ocean but I could hear the sound of the little waterfall of the pond.
