Visiting old books,
stories, paintings, faces;
seeing wonders in museums,
gems in a shop,
imbibing epic skies
on a blog
or resounding to
a mellifluous brook. . .
All these things
feed me
and you.
We needn't own them-
but may revisit anytime,
They show us new facets
and intimations
as we develop new ones of our own.
Thank YOU for visiting! cloudia
Cloudia, thanks, well-stated on my blog and I replied.
ReplyDeleteI must state that I am partial to blue sky mixed with orange sky and clouds. The multitude and variety of colours in Hawaii is amazing.
I have collected with my various PCs and a Mac close to 1000 desktop pictures and Hawaii is as beautiful as any place on earth in my opinion.
Now, if there can just be a theology job reason for me to go there for the first time (I mention this in satire and theology latest).
Hi Cloudia,
ReplyDeleteI loved the pictures today. I just watched that clip of Colbert on the View where he said that quote. It was really touching.
Hope you are well.

There is old Chinese saying - once you have known the fact to accept the pain then there would not be much suffering :) tQ.
ReplyDeleteAloha..
Beautiful photos! The one of the scoundrel is stunning! Thanks for visiting. For the record: Danish Sjaelland/Zealand has nothing to do with New Zealand. New Zealand was discovered by the Dutchman Abel Tasman in 1642 and he named this country after the Dutch province of Zeeland.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Aiden!

Happy birthday to Aiden!
ReplyDeleteWise words, and that sky just made them more true. We can't own the beauty nature provides us, but we can enjoy it...as long as I can move around, see and smell things I am the happiest person!
Aloha, dear Cloudia!
May time and life continue to treat him kind.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, ever since having a child, time obtained a different measurement. Please have a good Thursday.
