Marital Disagreement

A L O H A!

Sky Fire

"When the winds of change blow,
 some people build walls
 and others build windmills."

Chinese proverb

Ah!

"Who sees all being in his own self,
and his own self in all beings,
 loses all fear."

Isa
(Upanishads)

Mark's Driveway

"One doesn’t become enlightened
by imagining figures of light,
but by making the darkness conscious.

The latter procedure, however, is disagreeable,
 and therefore not popular."

Carl Gustav Jung

Couples can find much to disagree about.
Fortunately, my husband & I
  agree on all important matters
- though we seem to disagree
on almost everything unimportant!

"Do it this way."

"No, Like this."

Amazing how large a little thing can loom.

Be careful not to let
bumps
morph into
mountains-

         Fondly, cloudia

  3. I thought I might see some volcanic action. That fire in our hearts can be hard to put out if we think well enough.

  7. You always have at least one quote a day that speaks to me.

It's good to have disagreements - it means you are still speaking.

  11. I love the photos, and the quotes are just what I needed to read.

Regarding the marital disagreements, I know what you mean. My husband and I disagree about cooking temperatures, TV shows and movies, how to clean the house, if it's cloudy or partly sunny... on and on. But, we know deeply these minor spats are nothing compared to the immensity of our love.

  12. If you find yourselves bickering a lot, step back and breathe and ask WHY?! Life is too short for bickering.

  19. I guess marriage is kept interesting by somehow finding those things that we disagree on. The main thing is to always keep a sense of humor.
