Tsunami Effects: Waikiki Harbor

Warm Aloha Greetings!

Thank YOU for your compassionate comments-
A new day arises. . .

"Bear and endure:
This sorrow will one day prove
to be for your
good."

Ovid

"Words have the power to both destroy and heal.
When words are both true and kind,
they can change our world."

 Buddha

"Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death
can erase our good deeds.
You only lose what you cling to.
Fill your mind with compassion."

 Buddha

Here is some video that I shot of weird flows in our protected harbor:

This shows the effects on our boat:

  6. I am amazed at how you're able to make a life on a boat. It does sound really scary whenever there's a tsunami warning. To think my son was NOT thrilled when he learned we were going to be living inland instead of near the beach so he could surf whenever he wanted. He's changed his mind since.

  7. Cloudia...What an experience. Are you back on your boat now? I sure hope that you can get back to whatever is "normal." This whole thing has been devastating to so many.
    Be safe....

  10. Mahalo for the scenes and tunes. (Part 2 didn't work on my system...) That looks like a big drop on the pier. Has it risen back up now? DrumMajor

  15. Just think, some Hollywood producer is probably shopping around for stories for a movie. What actress would you want to be cast as you?

Glad you and yours are safe!

  24. There is a proverb that says the power of life and death is in the tongue. Thanks for stopping by with your signature fishies! Those are great. And glad to hear people are okay on the islands. We have friends in Maui and were happy to hear when they called that they were spared any real damage and deaths.
