Yes,
I am learning to sail
the seas of life.
Scrape the barnacles,
apply another coat-
of lipstick!
I'm coming to your town,
ocean-drunk
and unsteady on my feet,
but bringing stories
showing my turtle tattoos;
Thank you for inviting me to dinner
though I wear no shoes.
