Am I coming-
or going?
We are only moving 2 blocks
but it is a huge change
in lifestyle.
How do people move
across country,
or continents?!
So please excuse me
for NOT visiting
as often as I like to.
But I hope to post,
so I'll see you
soon.
Thanks for your kind comments-
Warmly, cloudia
we've got a bit of a problem with local cats watching our birds hungrily, as in the pic here. Sometimes they do more than watch unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you will miss the rocking and swaying of your boat while you sleep.
ReplyDeleteLove the little girl with the shave ice! So cute.
Good luck with the move, Cloudia!
I feel happy already. Strong cup of coffee to get my morning started.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend move!
ReplyDeleteThe Betty Smith quote is right on ;->
ReplyDeleteBon voyage ~~ happy moving ~~~
Oh I can't wait to see what POSITIVES you make out of these CHANGES!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOnly our Sista--could put a phenomenal POSITIVE Twist on this really cool move! Happy for ya Cloudia!!!
How long before you GET YOUR LAND LEGS?????
HFTEC,
J
The cat looks ready to jump. I am glad that I started blogging again after a period of two weeks.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
I think a move can be invigorating and life-enhancing on so many levels (no pun intended!). Take your time and enjoy the process. I remember when we first moved to the home we are in now, how much I loved it and still how much at the same time I missed my previous abode.
ReplyDeleteMaybe if you are high enough up in the highrise, you will experience some swaying to compensate for the lack of rocking and rolling? ;)
being happy is a privilege, when happen you should appreciate...
ReplyDeleteIt's a busy time moving and just as much work no matter how much the distance. Hope all goes smoothly for you. Loved the photos and quotes again.
ReplyDeleteas you are about to 'move your world', I'd like to wish you all the very best !
ReplyDeleteMoving house is considered one of the most stressful tasks a person can undertake, good luck :-).
ReplyDeleteHang in there, Cloudia. At the end of July, I moved into a bigger apartment in my apartment building, on the same floor, literally down the hall, and it was still a long, stressful experience. Coffee helps.
ReplyDeleteI find happiness in the little things too. The play of light on leaves, the purr of a contented cat, things poking through the soil in the garden.
ReplyDeleteMoving is always stressful. Hope yours is as easy as possible.
Well, at least you won't have to move furniture like a sofa, dining table, chairs, etc. Happy thoughts!
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much.
ReplyDeleteI gotta confess, it IS stressful.
Your comments really help me to focus on what's important.
i am almost finished moving...it is exhausting!...watch the back!
ReplyDeleteAloha friend!
ReplyDeleteTake your vitamins! Alternate between strong coffee and strong mixed drinks! After 5 years, I still have a box I haven't unpacked. DrumMajor
ReplyDeleteGood luck Cloudia - I'm sure you'll make the new place 'home' quickly. Life isn't about change, but adapting to it.
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend goes well. Aloha !
It's so exciting, I feel excited for you how mad is that!!!!! Soon you'll be settled and have that magnificent view to look at while you drink your strong coffee, have a ciggie and blog away to your heats content!! cool!
ReplyDeleteHope you are settling in well. Take time to rest and time for you, Every Blessing
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful you! Sending love!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move. Thanks for sharing this great post. That cat is really engaging.
ReplyDeleteoh thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful site Cloudia and I've enjoyed reading your posts and viewing your pictures. You are certainly a crafty, talented writer and have an good eye for capturing God's beauty. As to your move, Best of Success. My best advise is to keep listing of all those things - big and small- that need done and keep checking each one off as you accomplish to help you stay focuse, energized and gain a sense of accomplishment and perseverance. Moving can be a knock-out as you may be already be fighting. When I moved Honolulu to Seattle in 2008-09, it took more nearly two years to 'negotiate' all that needed to be done after 16 years in the islands. I'm still working on the details such as getting a "local" Washinton State ID that I plan to do MONDAY (always "Monday", eh?.) Aloha nui my friend.
