Brain imaging shows
that infants are bursting
with mental activity.
Everything is new,
absorbing,
and exciting
to them.
Brain imaging shows
MUCH LESS
activity
in the brains of
adults.
For babies,
every day is love in Paris,
for most adults
same old
same old.
Maybe being called
a big baby
is a complement!
Thanks very much for visiting
Your comments make my day-

Zdjęcia urocze, a cytat najbardziej mi bliski, to autorstwa Nonymous.
ReplyDeletePozdrawiam. *** Photos of cute, and I quote most closely, it is by Nonymous.
Yours.
interesting concept!
ReplyDeletethanks for both, write and delicious photos!
ReplyDeletehave a great rest of the weekend!
xx
Lovely quotes! And the first photo is awesome :)
ReplyDeleteI'll just take the littering ticket officer and then let the judge know how pissed I really am.
ReplyDeleteSo true - good thoughts!
ReplyDeleteI don't agree with the Gaylin quote. That whole a-lady-doesn't-show-anger stuff is at the root of a lot of quiet misery.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep that Picasso quote. I need your 'spiral' today... -1F here now.
ReplyDeleteI try to keep my brain activity up with new things every day!
ReplyDeleteWhich completely validates my theory that you should release your 'inner child' on a regular basis!! ps your leafy messages made me smile!!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how baby brains and behaviors are so similar to elderly / dementia brains and behaviors. "Plesantly confused" patients are easy to care for, just go with the flow, don't argue or correct about factual things, just agree and all is well. DrumMajor
ReplyDeleteAlways breath holding to see what I will discover hidden here!
ReplyDeleteYou NEVER disappoint!

Great photos and quotes... you could still use some work on your Chinese translation, but it was pretty good today.
ReplyDeleteHappy Chinese New Year's Eve!
Being called a big baby is a complement!
ReplyDeleteThere is comfort in everything you share, Cloudia.
And today, Chinese characters to keep us learning.
One of my favourite sayings, Cloudia is 'a moment enjoyed is never wasted.'
ReplyDeletethank each of YOU SO much! You folks make my day - every day :-)
ReplyDeleteThere's much less brain activity in the adult brain because its full of lifes experiences :-).
ReplyDeleteMany a night I remaind awake, while my son was sleeping, not always too good, yet I left him with his own dreams, wondering still, now after four years, what he sees, sometimes I dare to ask him.
ReplyDeletePlease have you all a good new week ahead.

so happy to see you today. thank YOU
ReplyDeleteThis is a truly beautiful post Cloudia. The photos are a joy - nobody does clouds better than you and the quotes are so, so apt.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Really cool shots!
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Wish I were a big baby.

I like babies for that very reason, their wonder at the world is as clear and obvious as their amazement.
As for adults, I rather hear a baby cry and whine all day than listen to a grownup for ten minutes.
Fireblossom never agrees with anyone named Galen...
ReplyDeleteHi Cloudia...:-)
Lovely shots and thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI hope to be a big baby all my life...
I love the Helen Keller quote!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! I was just looking at some photos of our trip to Paris. :-) You really are an inspiration, Cloudia!
