"There is nothing
in a caterpillar
that tells you
that it is going to be a
butterfly. "

Buckminster Fuller

" Happiness
is not something ready-made.
It comes from your own
actions. "

Dalai Lama

Did you hear about the snail
who was robbed
by a turtle?

When asked for details
she said:
"Oh it all happened
SO fast! "

" The tree which moves some to tears of joy
is in the eyes of others
only a green thing
 that stands in the way.

Some see nature all ridicule and deformity...
and some scarce see nature at all.
But to the eyes of imagination,
nature is
imagination itself. "

William Blake

  5. I like the Fuller Quote, but then you can say the same thing about food.

And you can quit keeping all the heat now. Winter came this morning at 15f. One more week then Spring arrives so you just have to send a little bit this way.

  11. It's so true, how different people regard nature. You know I love it. I think there is a special corner of hell for real estate developers.

  16. Oh that poor snail! Your first photo makes think of what a great idea for an ice-cream store....or a coffee shop... on a much larger scale of course... imagine the people that would stop to order something out of that as a coffee or ice-cream stand! I hope your weekend is filled with joy!

  20. Great collection of quotes. Richard Bach (no relations) has a great quote about the caterpillar and butterfly too: ''What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.'
