 of the Pacific Golden Plover
[Pluvialis Fulva

 Every Spring, each one flies
 from Hawai'i 
to their nesting grounds
 in Alaska,
returning to our islands
 in the Fall
 a non-stop 3,000 mile flight
each way.

  3. That's alot of work for creating more birds. Maybe they watched "March of the Penguins." There'd be fewer humans if we had to work that hard to advance the species. DrumMajor
