" This little ship

. . .is more wonderful
than the big one
that takes me away
 from you. "

Charles Frohman

" It's surprising

things unnoticed
at the time.  "

Barbara Kingsolver

Ah,
the famous
Chinese curse:

"May you live
in interesting
times."

So clever.
Sounds like something
a mean-girl would say.

It sounds nice,
until it
sinks in!

Predictable
is nice:
a home,
food,
loved ones.

Interesting times
means
problems.

But I'm gonna
fool them!

I'm gonna
enjoy
these interesting
times we've got.

It's all just
a matter of
PERspective.

Won't YOU
join me?

Thank YOU-

                        Warmly, cloudia

Yeah, I've noticed that. Somethings really stick in my head while other memories I want to keep just slip away.

  4. I know that curse well!! But maybe your perspective on it is better - embrace the interesting times... Why not?!

Is the kingsolver quote from the Lacuna? Have you read it?

  15. The first picture looks like the last scene from Speed (the ship version).

I really like all the quotes, they hit me in a big way.
