Mornings are darker,

all around our islands

in September.

The world turns

on it's axis of

seasons.

Evening comes

earlier,

soon gentle rains

will herald

island winter;

Sprinkled amidst

sparkling clear skies

and crystal

Trade Winds

that whisper

 of 

Alaska Snow

and 

global reaches

of open Sea.

Blooms do leave us,

but are replaced

by others.

Soon the coffee

on Kona's slopes

will blossom

in white

and red cherries.

You can come

and feel our 

marvelous Winter,

but to YOU

it will be

delightful Summer.
