Tear down the ugly house
built atop the meadow
of my innocence.

Let the grass of me
lift it's heads gently,
tentative at first
in time, one hopes,
to run riot.

Surely there is time
before the harvest?

  15. Grew up attending pow wows in Oklahoma. How wonderful to have them in Hawaii. Indian Fry Bread is wonderful! Met some of the last Indian Codetalkers from WW2 at the Red Earth Festival in OKC.

  21. I am glad you still have your blog, for I don't know how to handle Facebook. It's too complicated for me. And there are always people showing up whom I don't know. Therefore I never visit my Facebook page. It was my daughter who wanted me on FB.
    Anyway your Mohawks are awesome!
