"The best thing
about the future
is that it comes
one day
at a time. "

for a man's religion
whose dog and cat

How Christmas Trees
come to Hawaii
" Whatsoever
hath fins and scales -
Because these,
Because these,
of all the fish tribe,
are the most
nourishing; "

Some call it
wandering,
rambling,
or a waste of
time-
I call it
absolutely
necessary.
Unstructured time
and yes,
space.
The Soul
needs breathing
Space.
Thanks for YOUr
Companionship
along the way.

I hadn't thought how Hawaii got Christmas trees, but now I know! :)
ReplyDeleteI guess ship shipments make sense
ReplyDeleteWow, love that quote about religion and a person's dog or cat. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteDo you get one of those Christmas trees?
ReplyDeleteThat is so amazing, I never really even thought about how you get Christmas trees there. It's very exciting to see that! Thanks for sharing it. As for those dogs and cats- my life would be a train wreck with no survivors if I didn't have all my animals! Enjoy your world, through the eyes of your kitty :)

I like the Lincoln quotes. I like it all, especially the value of some good wasted time.
ReplyDeletei like the lincoln quotes. :)
ReplyDeleteLincoln was a wise man. I so love your sweet kitty's face. And I suspect that Frank might like me to get a fish scale(ish) top like that. ;)
ReplyDeleteChristmas trees delivered by boat? Plastic or live?
ReplyDeleteTalking about ‘wasting time’: are you trying to teach this grandmother how to suck eggs?
Christmas tree containers, mermaids, and Pixie dust... what a wonderful ramble today. Loved the Lincoln quote.
ReplyDeleteLove YOU guys, thanks!

What is this life, if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare...
ReplyDeleteThe first lines of the poem by William Henry Davies are as true today as ever they were.
How interesting because we just saw Lincoln today. I'm doing a post about it tomorrow. It's just incredible how he accomplished what he did.
ReplyDelete'I try to take each day at a time,
ReplyDeleteBut sometimes several of them attack me at once'.
