    Sad, his passing and the passing of a generation that gave us the example of honor, sacrifice, honesty, bravery, leadership.
    If only we had more like him.

  10. This really brought tears to my eyes. I've heard that sentiment before. The Japanese felt strongly that honor to family and country was the most important thing. Parents trained their children to bring honor to themselves and in so doing to their family and country. Like Dan Inouye, I hope I'm never ever put to the test to tell my own children the same thing.
