Back in Nature

A   L   O   H   A  !

Oooo! Click on this one at least
" You must not pity me
because my sixtieth year
finds me still astonished.

To be astonished
is one of the surest ways
of not growing old
 too quickly. "

Colette

" Sometimes
you can tell a
 large story
with a
 tiny
subject. "

Eliot Porter

'

The Stamens on Lilies
look like cell/mobile phone
towers.
And who is this?
Another ant steals
the scene!

Don't be shy now!
Pick up your head
and say "Aloha"
to the people.

" Shall I not have
 intelligence with the earth?
  Am I not partly leaves
and vegetable mould
myself.  "

 Thoreau

How good to walk outside.
My head cold is abating,
I'm one of the lucky ones.
"Healthy People Problems"
That's what I've got,
Hallelujah!

I have a friend
who has MS.
He is much stronger
than I.

What a pretty statement,
beginning,
and ending,
with
" I "

Cause it's all about
me.

As YOU
are all about
you.

Except
when we're
not.

That is something
very special
that happens
here -
but not only
here.

Except that when
it is occurring
we are always
"Here"
indeed,
a very special
place beyond
time space fear.

My friend is strong
despite his body
his " I "
that will not
cooperate.

Those of you
living with
chronic issues
have my deepest
respect,
more than that:
my Aloha,
my love.

Because we all have
this commonality,
that someday,
healthy or struggling
we all
go into
Mystery.

What a privilege
to be one
among you.

Dedicated
to my Friend.
He knows
who he
is.
