" The Fates guide
one who will,
those who won't
they drag. "
Seneca
" Diplomacy
is the art
of telling plain
truths without
giving offence. "
Winston Churchill
"Everything
can be taken
from us,
but one thing,
the last of the
human freedoms -
to choose one's
attitude
in any given
set of circumstances,
to choose
one's
own way."
Viktor Frankl

Fate or the gods
do not drive us.
But-
We obviously
do not choose
everything
that happens to us.
Life is made up
of some from
Column "A"
and some from
Column "B"
But that's a
mental game.
Who cares
how many angels
can dance
on the head of
a pin?
Knowing
will only get you
part of the
way there-
What matters
is befriending
the angels,
or angel
you may.
Each of YOU
plays that role
for me:
bringing
what I could not
otherwise
enjoy!
Thanks.
The web is crowded.
I appreciate

Beautiful photos on this blog! They warm my day. Thanks from freezing New Jersey! 30 degrees here today!
ReplyDeletei am a fatalist .. i believe it is as it should be .. we follow a path and if we choose the left vs the right leg it was the choice we were meant to make
ReplyDeleteIndeed true, we are not purely the masters of our own destinies, but we do have something to say about them.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too diplomatic, friends say. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteThe second shot is fantastic. Love the details.
ReplyDeleteSo if I leave a comment, does that mean I'm an angel dancing on the pin of your blog? What a wonderful thought! Great pictures today...
