It makes what is excellent in others
belong to us as well. "

How busy we are getting it "Done"
rushing to "Correct."
We seldom even notice
what life is brightly showing
right before our eyes.
Others do not hear
what we tell them;
They are on to the
Next Thing.
Just like we are.
How often do we miss
fresh breezes
of a new "Aha?"
We seek an image
native only to our minds,
blind to ripe real
treasures all around.
Friend my friend
allow a Sacred Space.
Permit holy delay;
Wait for an Angel to pass.
Nature always fills a vacuum.
So learn to leave a space.
Mine is right between my ears :-)

Voltaire rocks!!
ReplyDelete"Others do not hear
ReplyDeletewhat we tell them." No truer words were spoken and I'm often guilty myself.
Most folks seem to lose the cork and can't regain the vacuum nature naturally will fill.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you have a Zamboni driving the Holu?

The Shakes quote is simple enough. And timely, some days.

ReplyDeletethat was wonderful. love the painterly clouds in the first - and your message to just stop, breathe and look around. :)
ReplyDeleteI will certainly try to leave extra room for the space.
ReplyDeleteGreat post that belies the claim to only space between your ears. Plenty of gray matter there, too, Ma'am.
ReplyDeleteThanks each Each of YOU!
ReplyDeleteYes, isn't that a cute little street sweeper?

ReplyDeleteUn caro saluto dall'Italia, cara Cloudia!:))))
ReplyDeleteThat second photo, especially, really made me think of home in Hon, HI!:) How wise these words, taking a little space in our everyday...
ReplyDeleteThat space between your ears is truly sacred. Thanks for this reminder to stop and listen, watch. Your photos make me do that.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the space between YOUR ears is very small. Love the Voltaire quotes - and all of your photos. Thank you.
