Why We Are Here

A  L  O  H  A !
" Our main business

is not to see

what lies dimly

at a distance,

- but to do

what lies

clearly

at hand."

Thomas Carlyle

" The practice of

peace

and reconciliation

vital

and artistic

of human actions.”

First thing in the morning
while I'm making coffee,

and LOOK!
Friends have been

  1. The Carlyle quote--interesting but the immediavy of my city is now but the resolutions so far off there is none any can do but wait for the smelter to do his job and the forge man to start bringing the hammer blows down.

I read a report that said Hawaii is the happiest state in America...and they say distance means nothing.

  3. Ahhh..dear Cloudia. You have indeed "Bloomed where you are planted" like an amazing exotic flower. I agree 100% with Carlyle...trying to stay where my feet are and do the work at hand.
    Happy Thursday, missy.
