" My sorrow,
when she's here with me,
thinks these dark days of autumn
rain are beautiful as days can be;
she loves the bare, the withered tree;
she walks the sodden pasture lane. "
Robert Frost
Autumn
is a splendor.
Just wanted to say
HOW MUCH
I am enjoying
Y O Ur
Autumn Posts,
those of You
in the North.
I feel the chill,
I taste the golden thrill
of pumpkin & spice.
This is what friends
+ blogs
can do.
Isn't it GREAT!
Fondly, cloudia
Ok you have just shown the reason why I firmly believe that Frost was slightly insane. Aand anytime you want to mix it up with the pumpkin spice cool crisp days of autumn feel free to visit anyone north of Kansas City. I think it would be a short visit Cloudia.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful thoughts and pictures to first seen in the morning.
ReplyDeleteAutumn is a vibrant joy - and my absolute favourite season. How lucky I am that thanks to the magic of the blogosphere I see it twice every year. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAs always I adore your skies...

ReplyDeleteSo much splendour. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteloved your boat scene.
ReplyDeletei, too, have to enjoy the seasonal change via some of the northern us and canadian blogs. probably not quite as much as you, but...
I feel a bit like Frost, though we seldom have such wintery days here.
ReplyDeleteMy autumn is like a lovely Spring. I love it, but I too appreciate the posts of the northern dwellers who can watch and feel autumn's chill. i love that first pic of the sky.
ReplyDeleteLove (each of) YOU!
ReplyDeleteThanks
Wow! You're flying high between the cloud layers, teasing the setting sun. Since I like sunsets at 85 degrees, it's hard to like raking leaves and shoveling snow, but I'll send you some! DrumMajor
ReplyDeleteWant me to send you a shit-load of Maple leaves?
ReplyDeleteNot from my neck of the woods though. Currently it's 81, sunny and a bit breezy. What a wonderful day, and the next few are promised to be just as lovely. WooHoo for us in Minnesota, at least lower MN anyway. Robert Frost is a dreamy poet, and this is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteThank You Cloudia for loving our Autumn posts .
ReplyDeleteWe love your warm hearted Alohas and gorgeous posts too !!

Very pretty. Autumn arrived too quickly for me. It always does.
ReplyDeleteAren't the skies amazing at this time of the year?
ReplyDeleteI've always loved fall. It lasted such a short time in Illinois. I loved the change of colors, the pumpkins, that scent in the air. Sigh.
